Today, on International Dance Day, we at Aspirall take a moment to celebrate the transformative power of dance, a universal language that transcends borders, cultures, and generations. Like conscious leadership, dance requires strategy, movement, flexibility, creativity and heart.

Dance is more than an art form, it is a way of communicating, connecting and leading with presence and authenticity. It speaks from the heart, inspiring movement, unity, and conscious creation, much like the principles we at Aspirall hold in sustainable leadership.
Among the rich array of artistic offerings that grace Sydney Harbour, we are proud to support and treasure Sydney Dance Company. Under the extraordinary leadership of Artistic Director Rafael Bonachela, and with the support of his talented and purposeful dancers, the Company elevates the beauty and culture of our nation. Their collective artistry reminds us that the arts are vital to building a thriving, inspired, and sustainable world.
This spirit of creative expression finds strong resonance in the poetry of our CEO, Tanya Diesel. In her poetry collections, Whispers of Our Planet and Endless Tomorrows, Tanya explores the intricate interconnection between humanity, nature, leadership and hope for a sustainable future, themes that are deeply mirrored in the movement and storytelling of dance.
As leaders, there is much we can learn from the art of dance, to:
• Move with intention and grace
• Listen deeply before we act
• Collaborate harmoniously with the world around us
• Embrace and celebrate diversity and creativity
• Lead sustainably for the greater good of our planet
On this International Dance Day, we invite all leaders to draw inspiration from dance: to lead with presence, creativity and passion. May we contribute to a world where beauty, culture and sustainability thrive together.
Tanya’s poetry collections are available through our website and online retailers Amazon and Booktopia
